Mingjue: The Awareness Behind Your Thoughts

Most of us live inside our thoughts and emotions without even realizing it. We react, we analyse, we get pulled into patterns — often feeling like we have very little control over our inner experience.

Mingjue is a simple but profound shift: learning to step out of those patterns and become aware of them instead.

What is Mingjue?

Mingjue can be described in many different ways.  I like to think of it as Consciousness being aware of itself.

In many ways, it is similar to mindfulness — but with a deeper emphasis on directly experiencing consciousness itself.

In this state, our thoughts, emotions, behaviours & sensations are observed, rather than being fully identified with

Instead of being caught in your inner world, you begin to rest as the observer of it.

Where it comes from

Mingjue is rooted in the theory and practice of Zhineng Qigong, where developing awareness is considered fundamental to transformation and healing.

In Qi Science, we learn that our state of consciousness influences our energy and vibration, which ultimately affects our body and our lived experience. In this course, we learn that consciousness can be trained, strengthened and used for healing, wellness and transformation.
